Mission & Purpose
Metanoia means “to change one’s heart”. We at Metanoia Church of South Bay believe that changed heart leads to changed lives. However, a broken heart trying to fix itself results in a further broken heart. We want to share the Good News that Jesus came to this Earth to die on the cross and rise again was to renew and restore our broken hearts so that we can reveal God’s glory through us. We welcome you to join us on this journey of healing and to share to others of the process.

Our Pastor: Joe Hong Carland

Pastor Joe Hong has been in ministry for over thirty years serving in youth and adult English ministries. He loves to play table tennis and basketball but is most passionate to help other people. He wants to build others up through the guidance and teachings in the Word of God. His prayer is that help people evaluate their life and find their purpose in Christ. He is married to, his beloved wife, Sarah for almost twenty-five years with three children.
